‘Angel Tree for the Love of a Senior’ – Is for those wishing to make a special purchase at this time of the year to help provide for Seniors (age 55 and over) and those with special needs, no matter the age. Pick an Angel that suits your budget knowing it will provide for someone very special. The Angel Tree For the Love of a Senior is available at four locations throughout town: Rona, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Stinson & Son and at Seniors at Home, 106 McGongial Street West, Arnpior. Two of our Angels, Nancy Peck (left) Program Coordinator/In-Town Transportation Driver and Mandy Stinson, Administrative Assistant – will be more than happy to assist you.

Antiques Treasurers & Treats Support Yellow Envelope Campaign

We are very thankful for all the support the Agency receives from the many local businesses including Judy and Mike Wilson of Antiques, Treasures and Treats who hosted a fundraiser for ABMSH which saw their customers receive a discount with every donation made to our Agency. A total of $150.00 was collected for the Yellow Envelope Dare to Care Keep the Wheels Turning Campaign.

June Breakfast N’ Learn

The month ended with the June 28th Breakfast N’ Learn with special guest speaker John Yakabuski, MPP as held at the Nick Smith Centre with breakfast cooked by Melissa of M3Eatery and fresh strawberries compliments of McGregor’s Produce – the event took extra help and thankful for Agency Volunteers, left to right, Nancy Paquette, Bruce Haywood, Carroll Haywood, Barb Lynds, Donna O’Grady and Pat Washington. The guests were treated to an 1977 audio of a presentation made by the late Paul Yakabuski (father of John) during a Canada Day week celebration to a group of Seniors.
