Island View Retirement Suites Pancake Breakfast on Wednesday, April 23
The good folks of Island View Retirement Suites hosted a Pancake Breakfast on Wednesday, April 23rd – for every pancake eaten they matched in dollars with all proceeds donated to ABMSH and the 23 programs provided for Seniors and those with special needs (no matter the age). Total raised – $1060.00. Thank you to everyone at Island View and to the members of the community who supported this event. Strong community supporter Andre’ Pilon, who donated jars of his locally produced maple syrup, is joined by Nancy Peck, Program Coordinator/In-Town Driver ABMSH, were the first customers of the morning, and together were served by Island View’s friendly staff represented here by Sheena St. Michael (pouring the maple treat) and Shannon Powers.
Dennis Harrington, Executive Director ABMSH and Mayor Tom Peckett, Township of McNab-Braeside, were happy to support the event while enjoying a delicious breakfast as prepared by Island View’s Chef Wendy Crego.
