Annual Seniors Christmas Party, December 13, 2024

On Friday, December 13, we all had a wonderful time at our annual Seniors Christmas Party. Guests enjoyed delicious food from Schmidt’s Catering and danced away to the fabulous music of the 3 of Hearts. Thanks to all the amazing volunteers who helped out in various ways. Also a huge thanks to our sponsors The Knights Inn, Island View Suites, Carp Commons Retirement Village, Pilon Family Funeral Home, Boyce Funeral Home, TAAG Accounting, Mel’s Flowers and Rona. 23rd Annual BBQ in the Park, July 18, 2024

Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home was very happy to hold their 23rd Annual Seniors BBQ at the Park Thursday, July 18th. It was great to see all the smiling faces. Celebrating Sweet Success at the Mother’s Day Bake Fair & Cake Decorating Contest + Cake Auction!

Our event was abuzz with joy as our community came together to support a wonderful cause ! From the tantalizing aromas to the stunning displays, there was no shortage of delights for everyone, not just moms!

Our esteemed judging panel had their work cut out for them, with each cake proving to be a masterpiece in its own right. After much deliberation, we’re thrilled to announce the well-deserved winners:

Best Overall: Marilyn’s Tarts

Silver 2nd: Brittany’s Bakery

Rising Star: Katie White (Student)

Fan Favorite: Arnprior Humane Society

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our fantastic judges, Susan Sarsfield of Valley Heritage Radio, Rick Stow of Oldies 107.7, and Graeme Ivory of the Town of Arnprior, for lending their expertise and making some tough decisions.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers and vendors who poured their passion into the Cake Decorating Contest. Special thanks to The Antrim Truck Stop, Island View Retirement / Aspira Island View Retirement Living, and Sweet & Sassy Café for generously donating their stunning creations for the auction.

Music with a Twist by CIBC, April 4, 2024

Thanks to the team at CIBC Arnprior, this year’s Music Trivia was nothing short of EPIC!  Shannon Dupuis and the incredible team at CIBC orchestrating an unforgettable event in support of local seniors and individuals with disabilities. Plus, it was also a win-win for the Arnprior Food bank as we collected quite the haul!

Special thanks to our Master Host Aerik Watson and his partner Erika for keeping the energy high all night long!

Big congratulations to the champions of the night, “Partial Recall,” for claiming the #1 spot!

We also wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to Leaha Baird for her generous donation of the beautiful wreaths, adding a special touch to our event.

Finally, we wish to congratulate Dion Dicks for winning the 50/50 jackpot of $412.50!
